i survived e o level bio paper...!!! i just finished it n can't believe my luck that wat i had learnt came out but wat i didn't revised hard enough did not!!! =p counting down to my birthday tmr... i think e easy bio paper as an early birthday present... thankyou cambridge!!! =) hahas n mindy,thankyou for e pressie... although i hav not opened it, i'm sure i will like it a lot... happy ultra belated birthday to you... n happy birthday shiying "jiejie"...
yesterdae, i went to suntec n gai-gai...lol... on the way to city hall interchange on the mrt, i suddenly saw the person sitting next to me signalling someone to take her seat... it's an old lady...gosh..why didn't i have noticed her at all until then..? it made me look so ignorant... iwas like soo embarrased deep inside me.. actually, most ppl,inclding me at most times, would have seen someone really needing a seat in a packed train n thought, why me? we should be embarrassed of ourselves... when we are standing on our sore feets n needing a saet, we would most oftenly hope the guy in front of us would get up n leave the train asap...but when it comes to giving our seat to the needy, our butts r like stuck to the seat with super super glue... anyways, i watched the incredible hulk...it was ok as i was not much of a fan of hulk...he's so ugly...nvm...but the thing is...the screen is so small at Eng Wah cinema suntec!!!! it's like watching frm a tv...!!!sigh...if the movie tickets r not a gift, i would definitely go TM GV... after the movie, guess what, i saw an actor n an actress...not frm hulk though,but they r tay ping hui n yao yi shan filming a drama scene at the arcade next to the cinema... tay ping hui was supposed to hit this thing where the lights indicate the hit pressure...anyway,watc out for the show it's that scene... i'm not excited at all since they r so common anyway... what got me really excited was that when i tured my attention away frm the filming, my eyes saw a really cool L Changes the world movie poster...wow!!! i'm a real fan of the Death Note series...Matsuyama Kenichi (L) rawks...heh heh...

Fathers' day--- 'go out shopping with my father' day...

it's fathers' day yesterday...well, i just went out with my parents ... initially, we had planned to treat dad to a nice dinner but cos my mum was unwell, we went home early n watched charlie n e chocolate factory on channel 5... this fathers' day has kept me thinking a lot... yes, mothers are the graetest ppl on earth but look at dad...silently returning home from work...hoping that his kids are not asleep so that he could have a nice chat with them.... the atm of the family...always wiling to give and forgives n forgets easily... dun u think dads deserve some credit too? dads r always the silent one...silently working hard for the family...silently forgets about their credit day,gives the best to their children without any fanfare... take my observation yesterday...i was at a particular place in Tampines where they gave out free packets of chocolates to all the dads passing by... guess what is their first action upon recieving the chocolate? silently passing the packet to their always hungry children...that's what my father did too... so what did i do? did i consume it immediately? i passed it back with a smile of course... :)
it's been a long time since i touched this blog...so i decided to give it a new look...last sat has been a very busy day for me that morn, i had attended this Gamelan workshop at Pasir Ris Crest Secondary... here r some pics a gamelan set... the instrument i played...funn... other instrus... here's a video
kompang is sooooo fun... i love the instrus...it is challenging to play yet it gives me a sense of achievement when i could get it...so much better then playing LAN games rite? at least i won't get addicted...I'm already a musicholic... :p
this holiday is so much of a holiday...lessons as usual...sigh...wat can i expect? it is the O level yr fr me this 2008...gonna get used to it...mean while, my brother has got so much fun...going out and all that...my cousin too had fun...she even went to Japan...the sakura season...i wanna go........i'll have to wait a long long time to go...when i have an income...hope i can go with school next yr...dunno which school i will go to....any ways...i'll enjoymy holi days...as in H for homwork, O for overtime...L for lessons...I for...i dunno wat's going on...lol...
a few days ago,there is a car accident at the bend near my block where a KFC delivery guy was knocked down by a van. he died in the hospital... he was only 19...he had a long way to go...worst still...it was only a few days to Hari Raya...his family would be so depressed n devestated... i do not know why i felt sad...prob.cos he is just bout 4 yrs my senior...so young...wat a pity... it made me think about the fraility of life...everyone will die, at any age...therefore,our lives are in fate's hands... however,some may argue that there are many ppl who survive from brushes with death....long comas...fatal illness... watever the point...i feel that we should all cherish our lives and live it fully...no matter wat setbacks...unhappiness...our lives are for us to be happy,n make ppl happy...we should all keep this song title in our head..."I will survive"....

Dese r e usual highlights of e annual National Day Parade on 9th Aug in Singapore. howevr, this yr's NDP has a big pleasant twist to it, instead of e Kallang stadium(which is undergoing renovation),or e Padang, e venue has changed to e beautiful ,scenic Marina Bay at the Esplanade Waterfront. thus,tourist frm all ovr e world flock here to see e new NDP venue and to watch e parade comfortably frm their hotel suite window. It is S'pore's 42nd Birthday,quite young for a nation though,but many of the s'poreans born in e 1960s, lyk my dad,grew up with s'pore and saw her change frm a small rural red dot to a world class hub of all hubs.frm the early HDB flats,to e ERP & VQS systems,then came NEWater, and most recently,e world largest floating platform where this yr's NDP was held. s'pore has continued to be innovative and always improving.e sml yet impactful improvements to our country hav let e world slowly realise our presence and come to valueour ppl. for thier creative thinking. as s'poreans,we must always be INNOVATIVE, SUCCESSFUL, BE OURSELVES...
JJ Lin had a new album...西界West side...there is a new song in the album,杀手Killa...the whole uncensored version is about 21mins long...but it was censored to 5 mins as it was too violent...i went to youtube n watched the whole uncensored version...it was really violent...he cut a gal's body in pieces n framed it up...freaky...the song is very nice though..see it for urself...it is in 3 parts...
